August 1st is the Swiss national holiday. There is really only one thing to do to properly celebrate: have a barbecue with potato salad and Swiss sausages.
I made a broth based dressing for my potato salad using a Betty Bossi recipe. For the dressing mix 2dl beef broth with 0.6dl oil and 0.4dl vinegar. Season with salt, pepper, herbs (I used parsley), 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of mustard.
