I bought too many bananas recently and they were starting to look slightly unsightly.
I rummaged for a banana recipe in my archive and found an internet printout for banana bread from an unidentifiable source.
First, you need to mix 180g sugar with 250g butter and whisk it until it has a creamy consistency.
The large one took about 10 minutes longer. The scent the cake gives off is divine! But baking this cake confirmed my hate for silicon moulds. It just doesn’t really hold its shape (just like me at the moment…) and gave the cake a bulge on each side (again, just like me …). I will ditch the silicon for good now.
