Fu-wench Cuisine

Today’s recipe brings back funny and great memories of my time as an Au-Pair in Bray, Ireland.
“My” two Irish kids introduced me to their favourite Sundau breakfast or brunch treat: French Toast. Or as little Rachel would call it ‘Fu-wench toast’.
It is a recipe one knows by heart (ehrm.. or does not really need a recipe for).
Mix two eggs and 2 dl milk.

Preferably with a very fancy milk foamer you otherwise have no real use for.

Soak pieces of toast in it for 5-10 minutes.

You can eat your French toast with apple sauce, fruit, or anything else you fancy. I like mine with cinnamon
sugar on top.

When the toast has soaked enough, pan-fry in some butter until golden brown.

Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bon appetit!
